Mandatory training for equiBREAK counts as a flat 10CP.
Optional images are to be judged separately (e.g. "play time" counts as recreational).

How to register/update a horse: fav.me/d3myk4b

:bulletblue: There are various ways to gather crediting points for your equines. As seen in many associations across the world, points will be dispersed depending on images, show placings etc.
:bulletred: It's your own responsibility to gather proof of points and count them, as well as keeping the HIEF lists updated; it is imperative that you let us know when your horse moves up a level.
:bulletblue: Replies are not guaranteed to be fast.
:bulletred: Gifted art and art made for you which you pay for (commissions, YHHs etc.) do NOT count towards your horse's HIEF credits. We feel this favours the more popular and point-rich players and we are an organisation supposed to encourage fairness between players from all walks of life.
:bulletblue: Art that is earned rather than given or bought (competition prizes, art trades, training exchanges, art payments etc.) still counts for HIEF credit points.

POINT LEVELS:
One star horse: 0 - 15 CP | :star: |
Two star horse: 15.5 - 30 CP | :star::star: |
Three star horse: 30.5 - 50 CP | :star::star::star: |
Four star horse: 50.5+ CP  | :star::star::star::star: |

Legend horse: see fav.me/d3n0wwn

There are different ways to gain points. See below how to count your images as HIEF horse CP:

REFERENCE PICTURES
Old refs: 1 CP
Current ref: 1 CP
:bulletblue: Must be original art, so coat designs etc. on premade lineart etc will not count. However, you can now register horses that have premade linearts for refs, except they will start at 0 CP instead of 1 CP.

SHOW ENTRIES
Non-sanctioned show entries: 2 CP
Sanctioned show entries: 3 CP (for a list of sanctioned shows go to fav.me/d3myjpn)
3 Day Eventing entries: 6 CP
:bulletblue: Only awarded to effort based show entries.

General order of 3DE phases: Dressage, Cross-Country, Show-Jumping

MINI-SHOW ENTRIES
Headshot entries: 0.5 CP
Full-body, shaded/unshaded without background: 1 CP
Full-body, shaded/unshaded with background: 2 CP

:bulletred: Mini-shows can count for maximum half of the total show-entry points for 4* horses registered after 22/11/2015! (e.g: Horse A has 20CP from show-entries but 14CP are earned via mini-shows; Horse B has 12CP from show-entries but only 4CP are earned via mini-shows. Horse B can be registered while Horse A needs 8CP more from full-shows; placing points do not count for this!).

PLACINGS
Grand Champion: 4 CP
Reserve Champion: 3 CP
1st Place: 3 CP
2nd Place: 2 CP
3rd Place: 1 CP
Judge's choice and other special placings: 1 CP

:bulletred: These placing bonuses only count in combination with an entry. Extra pictures for shows don't count as show entries.

TRAINING PICTURES
Each image: 2 CP

:bulletblue: Images do not have to be full body. Must be at least colored (for digital art) or shaded (for traditional/pencil art).
:bulletblue: If horse is shown multiple times in an image, multiply 2CP with the number of times the horse appears. (!IMPORTANT: This only counts for images that have had effort put into; the horse must be shown at least once full-body and maximum two times as headshot).
:bulletblue: Total CP that can be earned through each collage is 8CP (if you show your horse in a montage/collage more than 4 times respecting the rules above, it will still only count for 8CP).

Examples of training pictures: riding work, ground work, free jumping, getting horse used to water etc.

RECREATIONAL PICTURES
Each image: 1 CP

:bulletblue: Images do not have to be full body. Must be at least colored/shaded.
:bulletblue: If horse is shown multiple times in an image, multiply 1CP with the number of times the horse appears. (!IMPORTANT: This only counts for images that have had effort put into; the horse must be shown at least once full-body and maximum two times as headshot).
:bulletblue: Total CP that can be earned through each collage is 4CP (if you show your horse in a montage/collage more than 4 times respecting the rules above, it will still only count for 4CP).

Example of recreational pictures: horse in a pasture, loading in trailer, stable activities, RP-ing with others etc.

HEADSHOTS
Each image: 0.5 CP

:bulletblue: Any type of portrait, except breeding pictures. Multiple headshots on the same image only count for 0.5 CP.

BREEDING PICTURES
Each image: 1 CP

:bulletblue: Only awarded if images are full-body with background.

ANIMATIONS
Half-body animation: +0.5 CP
Full-body animation: +1.5 CP
:bulletblue: These points count only once. They can be used for all images that are at least partial body. Half-body animation means at least 2 major parts of the body are moving (two legs or leg+head), and full-body animation means all four legs are moving. There are 0 points awarded for blinking, ear/tail flicking, raining/snowing or other minor animations.

LINEAGE
For every HA-RPG horse in lineage: 0.5 CP*
Each horse in lineage that has been placed in Four Star level at HIEF: +1CP**

* Putting a name in your horse's pedigree does NOT count. Sire/dam must be actual horses created for the Horse Art RP Game on Deviantart to count as "HA-RPG pedigree".
** You must prove this by providing link to the HIEF Four Star ref of that specific sire/dam.

A 4* horse in a horse's lineage counts for 1.5 CP (0.5 + 1).

Restrictions on art for points:
:bulletred: Art MUST be original: we do not allow premade lineart, full photomanipulations or stolen art!
:bulletred: We allow both traditional and digital art.
:bulletred: Art must EITHER be colored OR shaded - which means we allow shaded pencilwork or flatcolored lineart. But uncolored or unshaded lineart/sketches do not count for HIEF points!

Question about shows!

An entry of mine was initially drawn and entered into a full effort-judged show, however it went unjudged for a year so I threw it into a mini show just to get some results - which type of show should I class the entry as for your system?

Entry in question: Seasick
Original unjudged show: BBEC 2018 Charity Ball and Horse Show
Mini show I then threw it in: SWC - Equine Everlasting Events (in which he received first place)
